  • The area of Greater Forest Lawn was first settled in the early 1900s.
  • Settlers moved into three different areas, Hubalta, Albert Park and Forest Lawn.
    In 1952 the three districts became the town of Forest Lawn.
    From 1952 to1961 the communities mushroomed incorporating restaurants,
    a hotel, an oil refinery and a number of farms.
  • In 1961 the town of Forest Lawn was annexed by the City of Calgary and has grown ever since.
